Films that have inspired my idea For me to generate a 1min short film:
1) The purge
This film appealed to me because i loved how the mask show no emotion but appears to have a molded in smile to it that creates mischief and suspense in which i will be using the stylistic from it to input it into my 1 min short film.
I have decided to use this idea in my short film as people were getting chased and killed by the masked men as all crime was allowd for a day. This I think would work very well with my short film
As my short film is that if a thriller film .
The Purge:
the first purge film made was a success as the estimated budget for it was $3,000,000 (estimated) while in the opening week the film was released it happened to score $34,058,360 (2,536 screens) which was a huge profit gain for the film makers while on the other hand the second purge film released, the purge anarchy

the highlighted words and numbers show how much was obtained by the movies being screened in which show us how much money and work was put in the making of the film to how much profit (Gross profit) was made from the film being screened. it also tells me that the first 'THE PURGE' film (the first one) made much more profit from the amount they spent of the creating of the movie it also tells me that it was much preferred than the second part of 'THE PURGE ANARCHY' as you can see from the box offices above the profits made and the amount spend for the creation of the film.

What makes a good horror?
The first is tension – created through mystery, suspense,
gore, terror, or shock. This is pretty straight forward elements of horror, the
craft and technique of film making.
The second factor is relevance. In order for a horror film
to be seen, it has to be relevant to potential viewers. This relevance can take
the form of universal relevance – capturing the universal fear of things like
death and the unknown, it can take on cultural relevance dealing with societal
issues.
The last factor, which may be the most counter intuitive is
unrealism. Despite the graphic nature of recent horror films, we all know at
some level that what we are watching is not real.
